The ‘King of Kologo Music’, King Ayisoba has made a passionate appeal to government and stakeholders to support his initiative for the betterment of the country.
The musician and Pidgen Music in their bid to promote the wearing of smock, called 'Batakari' have successfully organised the music concert for four consecutive years and have seen patrons dazzle in different kinds of the traditional attire.
Speaking to GhanaWeb at this year's edition of the event held at Alliance Francaise in Accra over the weekend, King Ayisoba expressed happiness over people's acceptance of the concept of the show, adding that the impact will be much felt if government offers to support.
Ayisoba indicated that the country could significantly reduce the alarming unemployment rate if the needed attention is given to the production and patronage of smock.
