Kwaku Gyasi, Josh Laryea, Oware Jnr. Bishop Michael Osei Bonsu, Rev. Yawson, and more have been favorites among gospel music lovers for decades now. It is true that they have become top names in the genre but the Ghanaian music industry is about to experience another God sent gospel artiste by name, King David Arhen.

After a long stay (eight years) in the states away from home, he is ready to churn out a soul inspiring gospel album.

King David is ready with his new project entitled, ?Nyame Ma Me Ba?, an album that has stirring songs, gut wrenching vocals and unbelievable anointing and not forgetting how great God is.

King David has not released an album yet but has been providing powerful spiritual messages through some performances he does in his church choir.

Ghana Music.com: Tell me about yourself?
King David: My name is King David Arhen, a Ghanaian by birth, who is considering music as a full time job. Am not new to the music scene.

Ghana Music.com: Is there a meaning behind the title of your album? Can you please fill me in?
King David: ?Nyame Ma Me Ba? means ?God give me a child?. My reason for this title is because every human being?s glory lies in the fruit of the womb and if you are able to have the fruit of the womb then you really see how great God is and His gratefulness in putting that seed into the womb which grows day by day, is really marvelous.

Ghana Music.com: How is this new album different from your other albums? If there is?
King David: This is power packed and more inspiring and with the help of the Holy Spirit, whoever has a problem and listens to this album will have solutions and breakthroughs coming his/her way.

Ghana Music.com: What is your favourite song on your new album?
King David: ?Nyame Ma Me Ba?, the title track.

Ghana Music.com: Are there any songs that are special to you on the new album?
King David: They are all special to me.

Ghana Music.com: Where do you get your inspiration from?
King David: I get my inspiration from life.

Ghana Music.com: Do any of the tracks on your new album represent you?
King David: All the tracks represent the faithfulness of God Almighty.

Ghana Music.com: What was your first performance onstage like?
King David: It was powerful and a lot of people gave their lives back to God.

Ghana Music.com: What?s your first music related memory?
King David: That was years back in church when I had to minister before the preacher man and as the Holy Spirit led me, I happened to minister in a song that was the theme for the preaching. He was so touched because that confirmed it was the Lord wanting that message to go out at that time.

Ghana Music.com: Did you ever want to be a singer?
King David: Yes

King David: Esther Nyamekye, Oware Jnr. and Margaret Mensah.

King David: As answers to life's questions

Ghana Music.com: Would you like to collaborate with other artistes in the future?
King David: I will like to help the young ones who have singing talents, to enrich and put to good use their gifts.

Ghana Music.com: How did you get into the gospel music circle?
King David: I ministered at church and a producer visiting that time saw the gift in me and offered to help develop my talent and market me. This is where I find myself now.

Ghana Music.com: How does the Ghanaian gospel music scene look like in the states?
King David: Very vibrant and everyone in the field is helping each other make it to the top.

Ghana Music.com: What makes you unique from other gospel artiste?
King David: When I' m on stage ministering I think it is unique based on the response that comes my way.

Ghana Music.com: What has been some of the challenges in your profession?
King David: The money involved in producing an album is quite hefty

King David: Challenging and there has been a lot of improvement.
