King Promise
Afrobeats act Gregory Bortey Newman, known by his stage name King Promise, has won the Popular Song of the Year award at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards with his global hit song 'Terminator'.
Out of 13 songs nominated in the category, King Promise emerged as the winner, beating the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, KiDi, and Kuami Eugene to win the category.
Having picked up other awards on the night, King Promise was in pole position for the coveted Artiste of the Year at the event being held at the Grand Arena.
