He has been successful at his chosen trade because his musical style transcends all boundaries of genre, race, denomination or societal background.

Weaving diverse musical influences ? R & B, modern rock, hip-hop, pop, jazz, traditional gospel has been Kirk?s trade mark. The concert dubbed "Bounce for Christ" is being organised by Gospelfest Africa and will also feature Papa san, the Jamaican winner of Rap/Hip Hop CD of the year award at the 19th Stellar Awards for gospel music.

In spite of his popularity on stage, Kirk?s faith in God is unshakeable. "I can look over my life and career now and see both reasons of success as well as struggles and pitfall," says Kirk, " and God has allowed it all. It?s all done with the purpose of the Lord drawing you closer to Him ? getting you closer to where he wants you to be.

And it can be painful sometimes until you reach the point where you can see it?s all been for a purpose and that?s a true moment of awakening and rebirth."
