Deluge Entertainment managed multi award winning singer (and physician) Knii Lante is releasing a new song "Love 'Em Still” by the close of this first week in November.
This single release follows hard on the heels of another inspirational song "Can't Give Up" which he RE-released under the distribution of Zojak just about a month ago.
The release of "Love 'Em Still" is interestingly coinciding with Halloween which traditionally marks the transition between Autumn and the cold season of Winter and is loaded with superstitions of ever present danger of attacks from negative persons and evil forces.
In Ghana, it is also coinciding with the heightening of social and intra-political suspicions as the country moves into the last month before the presidential and general elections - a time in which much love is needed.
"Love 'Em Still" (voiced over the Love Line Riddim) is a fast paced and danceable reggae song with the simple message of "loving the unlovable " and "overpowering one's enemies with the superior force of love"..... In other words, Knii says, "LOVE OVER HATE, EVERYTIME AND EVERYWHERE".
He continues... "Isn't it really painful when people come at you repetitively with negative vibes, stereotyping, verbal and physical attacks , lies, prejudicial positions etc..? . Sometimes you feel like hitting back in same measure but really, has that ever resolved the issues? Guess it is becoming clearer that only love has the ability to permanently overcome the adversary and really settle the issues".
Again deep into the song, and obviously in reflective flight, Knii alludes to how the beautiful phrase "One Love" has become bastardized and is used by some who have no love in their heart. But even they, he concludes, deserve you to "Love 'Em Still".
Other artistes who have ridden this riddim include Daville, Queen Ifrica and Turbulence. Once again Ghana's Knii lante makes Africa proud by this powerful revival ride which is simple but at the same time, classy and has a solid and long enduring message.
"Love 'Em Still" is bound to be a staple on many reggae menus and mixtapes worldwide.
