Kobby Kyei's appearance on The Delay Show on June 29, 2024, was a dream come true for the celebrity blogger. He recalled his long-time desire to be interviewed by Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay), hoping to be part of the illustrious list of celebrities the award-winning television presenter has interviewed.

“I told you I’d come on your show. That was about four years ago. And I’m here. I’m humbled. I’m so humbled to be here,” Kobby Kyei said upon being welcomed to the show.

He expressed his admiration for Delay's consistency and impact on the industry, saying, “I wanted to be here. I really wanted to be here because we all grew up watching you. Your consistency is crazy; the impact you’ve made in the industry.”

Kobby Kyei also mentioned that he wanted to be part of Delay’s future documentary, stating, “I’ve seen you interview many people, so I envisaged that if I come on your show, in the future, if anyone is looking for a documentary, your interviews will pop up. So, I made up my mind to be here so that at least, when we’re talking about the people Delay has interviewed in your future documentary, I’ll be happy to be a part of it.”

His comments brought a blush to Delay's cheeks, showing how moved she was by his remarks.

Delay is highly regarded for her exceptional interviewing skills, characterized by her composed demeanour and insightful questions. With a remarkable television career spanning over fourteen years, Delay has firmly established herself as a formidable brand in the industry.

Delay's broadcasting journey began in 1999 at Life FM in Nkawkaw, Eastern Region. In 2005, she joined Top Radio in Accra, hosting a mid-morning show until 2007.

From 2007 to 2016, she worked with Oman FM. It was during her time at Oman FM in 2008 that Delay launched her own television show, 'The Delay Show,' which continues to captivate audiences to this day.

Delay has won many awards, including TV Female Presenter of the Year at the RTP Awards 2023 and the Most Outstanding Woman award at GOWA 2020. She has also received the Excellence in Media award at the 2023 Ghana Women of the Year Honors.
