Guitarist and song writer known in real life as Akablay Anthony, has revealed that Kofas media producers of Kalyboss In China can use his song ‘Take Away’ in their yet to be premiered movie Amakye & Dede.
Speaking on Accra base Pluzz FM led guitarist for Grammy nominee Rocky Dawuni in Ghana said “am happy a Ghanaian movie producer and director has used my song for his movie”.
“…I wrote the song myself Pwizzy produced the song and I thank God and Ghanaians for how they have received the song”.
The 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) nominee added that supposing it was Lionel Richie song use for a movie producers of that movie will pay the right for the composer.
But for now am happy and I don’t have problem if they use my song but what I believe is that the song will really go far and promote me and the artiste I featured Cabum, he averred.
When host Sammy Flex asked CEO of Kofas Media reasons for using Take Away in Amakye &Dede movie.
The popular comedy skit director of Boys Kasa, said I like the song very much and it has a comic relief in it which I taught it wise to add the song to the movie.
Akablay said I won't refuse any amount of money from Kofas media. But I believe whatever amount am given I will appreciate it very well.
