Born into the Gyaase Royal Family of Aduana, Dormaa, Kofi AC (formerly Allan Cash) is a dynamic Highlife and Hiplife artiste, seamlessly blending tradition with modern Ghanaian sounds. An orphan with one sister and two children, his journey into music began at St. John’s International JSS, where he first discovered his talent.
Despite pursuing education at Dormaa Secondary School and later at the Ghana School of Social Work, music remained his true calling. Kofi AC refined his craft through multiple demos before securing his first professional record deal with the then Stunnin Music Group.
This led to a major breakthrough in 2014, when he collaborated with the legendary Sherifa Gunu—a song produced by Falcon Music and mixed by Eyoh Soundboy. Over the years, he has worked with industry giants like Barima Sydney, Benji, and Kwame Amingo.
After parting ways with Stunnin Music Group in 2019, Kofi AC took a brief hiatus to redefine his sound. Under his new management, Stunnin Event and Promotions (StEPs), he made a powerful comeback in October 2024 with his debut EP, “Chinese Bamboo.” The project showcased his versatility, featuring hits like:
- "Kofi oo Kofi"
- "Yɛɛba" ft. KRC
- "Yɛ Mpaapi" ft. Kooko
- "Obi pɛ" ft. Kojo Lap
- "My Life"
- "Efie Mensah" ft. Trendhin
- "W’apagya Me" ft. Budhisatva
A masterful lyricist, Kofi AC effortlessly blends rap and melody, making him a standout force in Ghana’s music scene. His song "Kofi oo Kofi" has the potential to capture the attention of Charterhouse and the TGMA board, marking him as a strong contender for industry recognition.
Now, Kofi AC is back with even more fire! His latest single, "Bossu", is an anthem for everyone who relies on a Boss—whether for help, gifts, or support. Produced by Kumerica hitmaker Apya On Da Beat, "Bossu" is already making waves.
