Ghanaian movie producer and director, Kobi Rana seems very upset about how some individuals including DKB have tagged him as one of the movie producers Kofi Adjorlolo was referring to.
In a bid to clarify the issue, he has warned people to stop spreading lies about him because Kofi Adjorlolo has never featured in any of his movies.
He also described DKB as a “dry comedian” for claiming that he (Kobi Rana) still owes him GH¢500.00 for a movie role.
“I repeat Kofi Adjorlolo is not in any of my movies out there. If your foolish blogger and presenter knew their job, they would know this and keep my name out of it. For the comedian, he is doing his usual dry jokes,” he stated.
A few days ago, Veteran Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adjorlolo, lashed out angrily at movie producers in the country for not paying him anytime he is cast in their production.
He alleged that some Ghanaian movie producers have failed to pay him after engaging his service and that they lack the requisite skills to properly manage actors in the county.
Following the incident, The Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) is asking Mr. Adjorlolo to render an unqualified apology to them for denting the image of its members or face their wrath.
The leadership of Ghana Actors Guild is also expected to hold a meeting to discuss the call on its member Kofi Adjorlolo to apologize to movie producers for claiming they owe him.
