Kofi Ansah’s Book of Condolence opens today

Kofi Ansah, renowned fashion designer whose flair, meticulous eye for detail, irreverence and passion for his art, family and friends, died suddenly after a short illness.

He had a history of heart disease, and suffered from cardiac complications.

The Ansah family of Senya Bereku, his children and his widow, would like to thank all who have called and visited over a trying weekend.

Books of condolence will be open from Tuesday May 6, at Soul Clinic International School in Cantonments, at the East Legon residence of his film maker brother, Mr Kwaw Ansah and at the premises of TV Africa in Kaneshie.

Kofi Ansah, the boy from Winneba Secondary School who studied fashion at St Martin’s School of Art in London, whose creations walked the runways of Accra, Lagos, Johannesburg, London, New York, Paris many other catwalks across the globe, took his last triumphant bow aged 62.

Funeral announcements will be made at the appropriate time.
