This is his 2nd single of the year after having a successful 2019 with three hot singles (Roll On, Mi Dey Up + Asuoden feat. Medikal) and starting 2020 with a soul-touching single ‘Mariama’ which was released on Valentine’s Day.

'In The City' is dubbed to evaluate the brand Kofi Jamar into an international realm, taking into consideration a great mass appeal after his nomination at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Award in the “Unsung Category”. This is to place him on a radar above all.

‘In The City’ as the title has it is a song that defines and represents the culture and unmatched lifestyle of the African elites. Song was produced by one of Nigeria’s best sound men Jaysynths.

The official visuals was directed and shot by Kobe Outta. Born and raised in Ghana, Kofi Jamar is no stranger to his country's Afrobeat scene.
