Ghana’s formidable sound engineer and award-winning producer David Kojo Kyei aka Kaywa known for his popular signature ‘Highly Spiritual’ has been honored by legendary in the entertainment industry.
Multiple awards winning art Mr. Music Man known in showbiz as Kojo Antwi and celebrated Broadcast Journalist Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) graced and honored the genius sound engineer on the night.
Kaywa for the past years in the music industry has served artistes good and trending song which have won them numerous of plaques in Ghana and outside.
The sound engineer who doubles as coach when its comes to music on Friday 1ST July, organized anniversary celebration concert christened ‘Kaywa Playlist Live’ held at the Tema Sports Stadia in Accra.
Fans flooded in their numbers to cheer their favourite artistes billed on the night to perform.
Artistes billed to thrill their fans had both mainstream artistes and upcoming artistes.
The night saw D Cryme, Donzy, Nana Boroo, Ebony Reigns, Praye, Epiosde and scores of other gallant artistes thrilled their dense fans.
With many hit tracks to his credit, Kaywa won Best Producer of the Year two consecutive times at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) in 2012 and 2013.
His competent handiworks have produced popular pieces such as Olofofo by Castro, Bibini Ba by Kwabena Kwabena, Niger Bebe by Ruff n Smooth, Kolom and Ma Girl both by Buk Bak, Onyame Nhyira by Sarkodie, Samini’s Where My Baby Dey and Asem’s Bye Bye.
He has produced beats for Mr Silva in the UK and UK based Ghanaian Afro Pop artiste, Fuse ODG.
