Legendary highlife artiste Kojo Antwi and Songstress Efya put on a passionate performance at the 2016 edition of ‘Girls Talk’ concert on the eve of Christmas at the National Theatre, Accra.
The ‘Mr Music Man’ performing ‘Nfa me nko ho’ with Efya gave a splendid ‘romantic’ display during the stage performance, sending music fans who patronised the show onto the dance floor.
With an exciting and successful musical career spanning over two decades, Kojo Antwi has established himself as a consummate vocalist; a prolific songwriter, and an enigmatic performer making him arguably the best Ghanaian musician alive.
Kojo Antwi has delighted lovers of good music with his clear and flawlessly seductive voice that radiates through his massive repertoire of smooth and sultry ballads.
Patrons of this year’s edition of the Girl Talk Concert were treated to refreshing musical performances from other talented artistes.
The Girl Talk Concert was certainly a night to remember and Efya has proven that she’s one of the ‘Greatest’ performers we have in Ghana. The concert did not see only female performance even though it was a show for females.
Other supporting acts on the night included Sarkodie, Adomaa, King Promise, KiDi, Wutah, Tagoe Sisters among others.
Mother of Efya, Nana Adjoa Awindor of Greetings from Abroad fame, former Deputy Tourism Minister Abla Gomashie, actress Lydia Forson and Yvonne Nelson are among personalities who graced the event with their presence at this year’s much-publicized event.
The night was not all about music as comedians Afia Schwarzenegger and Jacinta also treated the audience to rib-cracking jokes.
Without any doubt, the night saw the audience screaming for more from some selected Ghanaian artistes billed to perform at the event.
