Kojo Antwi confirms Tamale concert

Ghana’s music maestro, Kojo Antwi has confirmed to GhanaWeb that he will be performing live in Tamale on Saturday, 16th November, 2013, as part of activities marking this year’s MTN Savanna-Fest.

The maestro told GhanaWeb that he is really looking forward to the gig, as it marks only the second time he would be performing in Tamale. “We were in Tamale about seven years ago and I can’t wait to go back to Tamale and the people love me too”, he told GhanaWeb. Other local artistes are also expected to perform at the event.


Other activities planned for the Festival include the commissioning of a special Chief Imam project at Madarasatul Monanwara Primary School in Tamale, Health Walk dubbed MTN walka-thon, Inter-Community Football Gala, among others.

Bolaga will also have their fair share of the festival on the 23rd of November, as all keep-fit clubs and various agencies take part in the MTN walka-thon, whilst communities do battle in the inter-community football gala. Before this, there would be the commissioning of Zuarungu Health Center project.


The bus stops at Wa on the 30th of November where there would be the commissioning of s special chief Imam’s project at Limanyiri Model JHS, MTN walka-thon and an inter-community cycling competition, dubbed BUZANGA OLYMPICS.
