Legendary Hi-life musician, Kojo Antwi has finally called contemporary Hi-life musician Kwabena Kwabena over claims that his current hit single track,“Supremo” is directed at the latter Razzonline.com is reliably informed.
The song which was released online some months ago contains lines like “Wu pe me ahwe asi nansu maye Nhyira, Wu hu hu nye me hu, nie nyame ahyira nu na wa hyira nu, fre mi Supremo, im the Supremo, king of love songs, they can’t get me out of the race, I can do it better, im the toughest.”
It was speculated that the wording in the song was directed to Kwabena Kwabena.But Speaking on the issue on her show ‘Good Morning Ghana” on Metro TV, on Thursday, the manageress of Kwabena Kwabena; Frema Ashkar who refuted claims that the song was directed to her artiste indicated strenuously that:
“I don’t think Kojo Antwi did the song to beef Kwabena Kwabena; he is too big for beeting…oh yes; he is too matured for that”, Frema noted on ‘Good Morning Ghana”
Frema delineated extensively by complimenting Kojo Antwi for his immense contribution to the music industry and being a source of inspiration to young musicians including Kwabena Kwabena.
However, according to information gathered by Razzonline.com, immediately Frema made her assertion on the show, the music legend who had already refuted the claim publicly, personally called Kwabena Kwabena on Phone and told him not to take the alleged beefing serious, thus he should forget nothing of that sort happened.
