Lynx Entertainment artiste Kuami Eugene today had the perfect reply to a news site reporting that he was being mocked for having ‘cheap boxers’.
In what has been a constant trend of people making fun of the artistes’ fashion choices, it looks like the “Angela” hit-maker has had enough and hit back with some words of his own.
Taking to the social media site Twitter, the musician quoted a tweet posted by Oyerepa FM that read “Kuami Eugene Mocked Over Cheap Boxer” and said “I remember a time when finding 5 cedis for food was a hustle. So if today I can buy boxers You think it’s woth 5 Cedi, then it means God has been good. Let’s thank God for what he has done for us. Barka de sallah.”
Oyerepa FM, a radio station based in the Kumasi municipality obviously were craving whatever attention they could garner, and with the target Kuami Eugene replying to the post, they get to savor the attention, however short that may be.
The music sensation has had a great career thus far ever since his chart topping hit “Angela” and has released other hits like “Confusion” “Rockstar” and other collaborations with the likes of DJ Vyrusky, Shatta Wale, Strongman etc.
