Sensational singer, Kuami Eugene has finally revealed the ‘motivation’ behind his hit song ‘Angela’.
Eugene’s fantastic hit song ‘Angela’ enjoyed massive airplay and topped many music charts last year and also featured at most of the events held last year due to his great stagecraft.
According to him, the song (Angela) was written in honour of his good friend who he disclosed as Angela Mensah but the storyline of the song depicts the kind of love he had for his ex-girlfriend.
His disclosed that constant barriers in his former relationship fueled the breakup after merely three to four months of courtship.
Kuami Eugene expressly stated that ‘Angela’ as depicted in the song is not the name of his ex-girlfriend as suggested by many.
‘Angela’ he insists is a special woman in his life who also happens to be a family member, a woman he looks up to for everything in life particularly since he began his musical journey.
He revealed that the woman has shaped his life in many ways, and he feels the best way he could tell how helpful she has been and continues to be for him is by making a song with her name hence, his super hit song, ‘Angela’.
Unarguably, Kuami Eugene’s ‘Angela’ song is still enjoying airplay around the country and still on some music charts.
The “Rockstar” as Kuami refers to himself, was the guest on the Delay Show last Sunday which was aired on GhOne TV.
The 21-year-old singer is signed on Richie Mensah’s Lynx Entertainment record label.
