Lord Kenya is a popular musician who has made a name for himself and the nation. After winning recognition through music he has now began charting the path that would earn him more respect in and outside Ghana.

The award winning artist Known at birth as Abraham Philip Akpor Kojo has made revelations on his days as drug addict who manhandled his own dad and wife while under the influence of drugs. LORD Kenya confessed being an addict of cocaine, Indian hemp and followed women and said he has now moved out of the bad habit and is following the path of God.

In an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM with host Black Rasta, the ex-rapper disclosed that “he has been saved and is born again now”.

“I don’t make lucrative earnings now, but I have peace which is the best thing that ever happened to me”.

The “odo di3 3wo Akomamu” hitmaker went on to say “He used to make lots of money when he was in the world but used it on drugs like cocaine, Indian hemp, women, alcohol and other crazy ungodly things

According to Lord Kenya, “it really saddens his heart to say that he used to beat up his father and his wife any time he is “high” on drugs”.

"I did other awful things to people too and I wish I could erase those memories,” he stated.

Kenya said, “My advice to the youth is that they should desist from drugs and save their lives.

He urged the media to help in spreading the bad effects of drugs.

By confessing to his iniquities and moving out of it and telling his story, many young men wishing to become professionals would learn to chart the right course in life. They would learn to become musicians’ engineers, doctors, and politicians without becoming wayward drug addicts and a bully.
