President Kufuor has imported eight (8) more Toyota 4WD Bullet-proof vehicles at the cost of US$193,000 each and one Mercedes Benz saloon car, making a total of a minimum of 14 Bullet-proof 4WD vehicles currently in the Presidential pool, that the latest Bullet-proof vehicles were imported with a Bank of Ghana Letter of Credit and on arrival encountered clearance problems at the harbour because Ghamot (Ghana) Limited who were approached by the National Security Council to clear the vehicles on behalf of the Office of the President declined to do so, claiming that they were not the accredited agents for Toyota Bullet-proof vehicles, thus paving the way for a private clearing agency to do the clearance, and that the said vehicles have mysteriously disappeared since they arrived in the country, such that not even the ubiquitous intelligence agents of your authoritative Ghana Palaver Intelligence column can give a clue as to their whereabouts?
