Kumawood actress Akyere Bruwaa debunks death rumors

Renowned Kumawood actress Akyere Bruwaa has responded to the news on social media, suggesting that she has passed away following a car accident. 

According to her, there is no iota of truth in the news that has gone rife on social media, which some sections of the public seem to believe. 

She noted that she was made aware of the publication about her death by a few of her friends who saw it online. 

The actress, who was furious over the news, questioned why an individual would wish her death and mar her image in the public domain with such tragic information. 

In a video posted by Express GH TV on their YouTube channel and seen by GhanaWeb, Bruwaa prayed for the person responsible for the publication to experience the same misfortune. 

“Those spreading fake news on social media claiming I have died in a car accident—is it for the sake of attention or what? Why would you wish me dead? I am asking God to make sure the person responsible for this suffers such tragedy ten times and see how it will feel like.” 

She further expressed her gratitude to her friends who were fighting on her behalf on social media regarding the news. 

“I’m grateful to all my beloved who have been fighting for me on social media,” said Bruwaa.
