Prolific movie star, Clara Amoateng Benson popularly known as Maame Serwaa has been in the news for mentioning that she is so keen about her education rather than the pursuit of money in the movie industry.

The host of Flex on Pluzz, Sammy Flex had wanted to speak to her on the issue but that was not possible.

All the same, Maame Serwaa's manager, Mr. Amponsah in an exclusive interview with Flex newspaper has revealed that speculations that Maame Serwaa is not made to concentrate on her education were not true and that the actress is taking her studies very seriously. He noted that Maame Serwaa is totally different from the roles she is made to play in most movies, adding that she is a very quiet person as well.

Mr. Amponsah revealed that, in school Maame Serwaa does not see herself as a celebrity and as such, she is respectful to her teachers. Touching further on Maame Serwaa's education, Mr Amponsah revealed that she is currently in her final year preparing for the JHS final exams. He noted that due to the importance Maame Serwaa attaches to her education, she would take a month's leave to prepare very well for the final exams.

This means that within the month of May 2014, Maame Serwaa would not be on set shooting any movie. When Mr. Amponsah was asked if Maame Serwaa could act in any English –speaking movie, he noted that she can speak English very well and that she has played a role in English –speaking movie which is yet to hit the market.

He also stressed that he is always with Maame Serwaa and as such, he can confidently say that she does not receive any pressure from the opposite sex so far as relationship is concerned.

One other important thing he spoke about, was the fact that money that Maame Serwaa's gets from playing roles in movies are invested in treasury bills and other financial instruments to aid her in planning her life and some projects she has the intention of embarking on.
