Highlife musician, Kumi Guitar on Thursday sacked Derrick Kobina Bonney, widely known as DKB from the conference room of Zylofon Media during an interaction with some bloggers and media persons.
Kumi Guitar and his management had invited these influencers to listen to his yet-to-be-released single ‘Betweener’ and video as well as share ideas on how to move the Kumi Guitar brand to an appreciable height.
After the listening session, the floor was opened for questions and contributions where DKB suggested that Kumi Guitar gets out of his reserved posture as bloggers complain there is nothing to write about him apart from his music.
The ‘King of Comedy’ proposed that Kumi Guitar registers displeasure in the signing of Shatta Wale and call on Zylofon Media to terminate the contract they have with the dancehall artiste – for he [DKB] was sure that would create enough buzz around Kumi Guitar.
In what appeared to be a drama, Kumi Guitar, walked DKB out of the meeting.
