The controversy surrounding the original owner the song titled “DW3” produced by Kaywa lingers on but in an interview with Sammy Kay on the Go online show, Krymi and Drew has quashed the allegation levelled against them by their former record label mate Kurl Songx.
According to Krymi, ever since he started doing music back in Kumasi nothing untoward has been associated to him because he does not like be subject in controversies hence he has a feeling Kurl Songx wants to ride on this allegation to hype his new song.
Drew, on the other hand, queried why Kurl Songx would keep mute until now that the song is all over the place.
Both Krymi and Drew advised their former record label mate to settle his issue with Kaywa and leave their names out of his mouth. They emphatically said the song “Dw3” is their song and not that of the “Jennifer Lomotey” hitmaker hence all the allegation levelled against them are false.
Kurl Songx Speaking with Akwasi Aboagye on the entertainment review show on Peace 104.3 FM a few days ago accused his former label “Highly Spiritual” boss Kaywa for copyright infringement.
According to him, he’s the original composer of Mr. Drew ft Krymi & Sarkodie’s “Dw3” but his voice was altered out. To cement the foundation of the allegation he made against Kaywa, he clarified that the ideology behind the song “Dw3” was to do something similar to his debut hit single “Jennifer Lomotey”.
