If there is anything called musician bonfire, the real glow will be experienced today at Alliance Francaise, courtesy of Kusum Gboo Dance Ensemble.

The artistic director of the group, Richard Danquah, said the foundations of Alliance will definitely quake with the cultural display tonight.

?We have rehearsed adequately for the blow out and would be choreographing dance forms from Ghana, Benin, Togo, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya and Zimbabwe?, he said. ?We are expecting a great performance?.

Also on the bill are Hewale Soundz, Odene Dance Company, Okotobrigya and Music Agorsor.

The occasion is the launching of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Kusum Gboo Dance Ensemble. The group which was formed in 1999 has toured West Africa, Europe and the United States teaching and performing traditional mmusic and dance.

The group represented Ghana at the 2001 edition of Festival Mundial, a huge multi-cultural festival in Holland.
