Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Emmanuel Nana Appiah Boateng popularly known as Nana Kontihene has revealed that his investment in Kwabena Kwabena’s music career was a wasted effort as he (Kwabena Kwabena) was always on drugs.
According to him, Kwabena Kwabena was always smoking weed and sniffing cocaine and was one of the reasons why he parted ways with him.
“It is disheartening that an artist you are investing in is always in the news because of his drug addiction and abuse.
"I wasted my time investing in Kwabena Kwabena. But he was busy smoking weed and sniffing cocaine. If I had invested that money in a poultry farm, it is better”, he stated.
Nana Kontihene also stated that his career is not dead and Kwabena Kwabena cannot be bigger than him as reported.
He introduced ‘jama’ into Ghanaian music circles through his debut hit ‘Aketesea’ and believed to be the first hiplife artiste to be featured by the renowned highlife artist, Kojo Antwi on his ‘Me die no woa’ song.
