Kojo Antwi and Kwesi Pee
Though sections of the public alleged that Highlife greats, Kojo Antwi and Kwaisey Pee are not cool with each other, the “music man” has broken his silence on that issue.
In an interview with Kojo Preko Dankwa, host of Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5FM, Kojo Antwi disclosed that Kwaisey Pee is part of the many artistes he has worked with.
According to him, Kwaisey is same version of him (Kojo Antwi), so it will be good to feature a different artiste to expand what he is up to.
“Why Kwaisey Pee… I think there are lots of artistes around I want to work with. I have worked with Kwaisey, he was my little boy and he’s doing well.”
Kojo Antwi continued that “Kwaisey is more a version of Kojo Antwi so when we all on same platform it will be a mark time for us. If I should add anybody it should expand what I’m doing so when the time comes we will do something.”
Kwaisey Pee has been likened in terms of vocal tone and delivery to the music maestro- symbolic of him having passed through the hands of the latter.
He is the son of Agyeiku, lead vocalist for the then Yamoah’s Band who are best remembered with their super popular song, “Serwa Akoto”.
