Kwaku Manu & SEWA Foundation interact with Ghanaians in Kuwait

Ghanaian Actor Kwaku Manu and SEWA Foundation Ghana, a Non-Governmental Organization which started in the year 2005 and was officially registered in 2010 as an NGO met various Ghanaian groups in Kuwait some few days ago.

SEWA Foundation Ghana is committed to the cause of children and they have resolved to do so in the areas of human trafficking, child abuse and child labour.

The ultimate goal of the meeting in Kuwait was to promote unity among the various Ghanaian groups to fight for a common agenda.

In attendance was Association of Residents Ghanaians In Kuwait (AGRIK), United Ghanaian Youth in Kuwait Association (UGYIKA), Ghana Manpower Agency Association In Kuwait (GMAAK) Ghanaian In Kuwait and Concerned Ghanaian In Kuwait.

AGENDA: 1. Is there a need for unity

2. Should the visa 20 be cancelled

3. Any other business.

After the meeting had commenced with an opening prayer by Bishop Jonathan, the CEO of SEWA foundation, Mr Jones Yeboah open the floor by educating the house of human trafficking.

He indicated the various forms of human trafficking and urged members to desist from any of the forms ranging transportation, recruitment, harboring etc. Actor Kwaku Manu also advised members of the groups to stay united and desist from human trafficking.

The various groups agreed to stay united and expressed their long awaited hunger and thirst for unity. The various leaders spoke on behalf of their members. The issue of the visa cancellation became a very difficult debate
