Host of Peace FM’s Entertainment Review, Kwasi Aboagye has rendered an unqualified apology to his listeners and panelists for abruptly ending the program last Saturday.

The presenter ended the program midway as a result of a disagreement between him and his panelists, specifically, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo over why Arnold resigned as Public Relations Officer of Radio/Television Personality (RTP) Awards.

Arnold did not see the need for a discussion on the matter. According to him, Kwasi Aboagye never discussed issues relating to RTP Awards on his show and would therefore prefer that his resignation is treated like any of the issues which arose.

Arnold had the backing of other panelists which led to the host drawing down the curtain for the show.

Kwasi Aboagye’s posture attracted criticisms from some listeners of the show but the ace broadcaster on Thursday’s edition of Entertainment Review apologized for his action.

“We started Entertainment Review in October 2006. I’m not sure I ended the show abruptly in one occasion. To err is human. I accept I faulted… Without my listeners, I’m nobody. Without them, there won’t be a program running. I don’t think I’m bigger than Entertainment Review or Peace FM. That is why in my absence, the program goes on. I apologise to Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, Socrate Sarfo and Ola Michael who were panelists on that day. It won’t happen again,” he said.

Panelists on the Thursday edition commended Kwasi Aboagye for accepting he erred and taking a bold step to apologise.
