Abodam rapper, Kwaw Kese has openly vented his displeasure at the just ended VGMAs for adjudging Sarkodie’s ‘Hand To Mouth’ as the best hiphop song.
According to Kwaw, he wonders how the board of the award scheme thought Sarkodie’s song is a bigger track than his ‘Yakubu’ single.
In a tweet, the rapper putting the organisers on blast posted ‘’so the VGMAs think ‘Hand To Mouth’ is bigger song than Yakubu?.... it’s a shame and I wonder how they came about that statistics’’.
Both songs were nominated in the ‘Hiphop song of the year’ category at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which took place over the weekend at the Accra International Conference center.
So the #VGMAs2016 think #handtomouth is a bigger song than #Yakubu?
