Kwaw Kese slams MUSIGA for not inviting musicians to MUSIGA Grand Ball
Rap artiste Kwaw Kese is peeved over what he believes to be an elimination of musicians from the 2017 MUSIGA Presidential Grand Ball which happened at the State Banquette Hall on December 29.
The musician after this year’s award ceremony happened on Friday took to Twitter to pillory the Musicians Union of Ghana for not inviting Ghanaian musicians including him to an event meant for them. He described the organization led by Bice Osei Kufuor popularly known as Obour as a shameful institution.
He further expressed sorrow over the president’s presence at the award ceremony he thinks was organized by ‘thieves’.
“Musigha or whatever they call it is the most corrupt institution in Ghana . How can you have a musicians grand ball and not invite musicians. Sad that the president @NAkufoAddo was present in the midst of these thief’s #MusigaGrandBall2017” Zionfelix.net saw Kwaw Kese tweet.
Emmanuel Botway as he is known privately later questioned if footballers will organize an event and invite market women to attend the show.
Musicians who performed at the MUSIGA Grand Ball included Daddy Lumba, Nana Kwame Ampadu, A.B Crentsil, Freddy Meiwey, Becca and many others.
