Rapper MENSA of the Foes of Kwame Nkrumah (FoKn) Bois fame has said though hiplife artiste Kwaw Kesse is currently behind bars for smoking a substance suspected to be ganja, he will come out stronger and possibly as a born again.
Mensa, popularly referred to as the lyrical twin of Wanlov the Kubolor, happens to be one of the Ghanaian celebrities championing the course for the law to be lenient on the ‘Nonsense’ hit maker.
“Difficult year for @kwawkesse. He can only come out stronger (which he will) or broken; and fucking born again….,” M?nsa posted on his Twitter page on Tuesday.
Kwaw Kesse, also known as ‘Abodam’, was on November 23 arrested in front of a wine shop close to the Plus 2 Drinking Pub in Kumasi for publicly smoking a substance which was suspected to be marijuana.
The ‘King of the Streets’ made his first appearance in court on November 24 and was denied bail instantly.
He appeared in court again on December 8 but was denied bail again.
He is to spend another two weeks in prison custody until December 22, his adjourned court date.
As it stands, the Kumasi Circuit Court is currently waiting for the police forensic team to present test results of the substance Kwaw Kesse was allegedly smoking when he was arrested.
