LIVE UPDATES: Black Sherif, Shatta Wale bag nominations as 2026 TGMA nominee lists drop

The most anticipated night in Ghanaian music is officially around the corner, as the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) begins unveiling nominees for its 2026 edition on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

In a carefully staged rollout that has already set social media buzzing, nominees will be released in batches starting at 11AM, with announcements dropping on the hour, every hour, until 4PM.

But the excitement does not end there. Industry stakeholders, artistes and insiders are expected to gather at The Palms Convention Centre inside the La Palm Beach Hotel at 7PM for an after-party that will also serve as the venue for the remainder of the nominations reveal.

The staggered format is a departure from the traditional single-event unveiling, building anticipation throughout the day and giving fans and pundits hours of debate before the full picture emerges.
