LIVE UPDATES: Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2017

The 18th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is set to come off at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) tonight.

For the first time in the history of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, a lady will single-handedly host the awards. Starr FM’s Anita Erskine will drive the show.

She would be ably supported by Joy FM’s DJ Black, who is the official DJ for the awards.

The event will see performances from the likes of M.anifest, Sarkodie, E.L, Stonebwoy, Nacee, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal, Adina, Becca and Runtown from Nigeria.

The big question is who wins the Overall Artiste of the Year award?

Whoever wins, history will be made. If

- Sarkodie wins - 3rd time Artiste of the Year

- E.L wins - first time back-to-back Artiste of the Year

- Joe Mettle wins - first gospel act to win Artiste of the Year

- Stonebwoy wins - first dancehall act to win Artiste of the Year twice

- MzVee wins - first female act to win Artiste of the Year

- Medikal wins - He equals Sarkodie's record as new act to win the most prestigious crown.
