After a successful premiere of Ghana/ Hollywood movie titled “Last Word” at the Stratford Picture House cinema on Thursday April 9, 2015, movie fans who couldn’t make it to the premiere have been calling on the producer of the movie to re-premiere the movie – since it’s not commercially coming onto the market anytime soon.

The proposal from the movie-goers has made the producer of the movie, Pastor Abeam Danso, announce to a section of the media that he will be re-premiering the movie on 18th April, 2015 so other Africans and European filmmakers who couldn’t have access to watch the movie, can get the chance to do so.

In a chat with Mr. Abeam who is also a pastor based in UK, he said that though there shall be another premiere, the venue will be at another place.

Asked why he has changed the venue, he explained: “We made efforts to get the Stratford but we realized the place has been booked, so looking at the pressure coming from the patrons, we decided to go for 777 Old Kent Road.”

Some of the movie-goers shared their artless review:

“This is a true African story, told with a Western touch, but from an African perspective. I enjoyed it”

“These are the kind of movies Ghana, Africa for that matter, must start shunning out.”

“I'm surprised at the quality of camera works, sound and lighting. The storyline is intriguing too. Kudos to the whole team!”
