Late Fennec Okyere and Amaki
Popular Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has revealed that his former manager, Fennec Okyere, according to the best of his knowledge, had serious marital problems with his wedded wife Amaki.
The rapper was responding to news circulating on social media which suggested that Amaki has remarried; two years after the murder of his husband, Fennec Okyere.
Speaking on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review with host Akwasi Aboagye, the award-winning rapper said he never saw his manager together with his wife despite his numerous visits to his manager’s residence.
He further disclosed that he never had a personal relationship with his manager’s wife, therefore, he was in no position to give comments on the subject of Amaki’s new marriage.
“Since Amaki got married to Fennec, she has never been friendly to me. It was only because of Fennec’s death that got the two of us talking. After the funeral of her husband, we have not been in contact” – he said.
Speaking on the marriage situation between his former manager and Amaki, the Abodam hitmaker said:
“For the two years of their marriage, they were not living happily. A month into their wedding, I never saw Amaki and Fennec together as a couple and that has been the status of their marriage for its two years of existence. Fennec, until his death, was fighting so hard to make the marriage work but it just didn’t happen.”
Fennec Okyere got married to Amaki in 2012. Unfortunately, Fennec was killed by unknown persons in 2014 at his Manet Gardens residence.
