Award-winning Ghanaian director Leila Djansi is making a comeback in a unique way, after several months of absence from the production scene.

The Sinking Sands director is returning with a new movie she has titled, "Where Children Play".

The movie was produced in Hollywood and is Leila’s second production in the USA after the movie, And There Was You.

Directed by Leila Djansi, the movie revisits the issue of sexual abuse and how it is affecting society especially children.

Playing central roles in this movie are Teyonah Parris, Macy Gray, Brian White, Edwina Findley, Osas Ighodora, Leon Robinson and Kylee Russell.

The movie’s trailer was released a few days ago and says Where Children Play is not only educative but also exciting.

Leila has over the years contributed to Ghana’s movie industry with great productions like Sinking Sands, I Sing Of A Well, Ties That Bind and Northern Affairs.

Her movies have always explored themes relating to important social issues including domestic violence, child trafficking and others.

It is not surprising she targeted sexual abuse this time.
