Let’s Criticize Government Constructively –Adjetey Anang

Popular Ghanaian Actor, Adjetey Anang has called on Ghanaians especially his fellow celebrities to exercise patience with Government as they work hard to find a lasting solution to problems bedeviling the nation, Problems that may have started years ago therefore the assumption of the office of this current Government.

In a Chat with Razz Newspaper Over the weekend at the time some celebrities were making their stance known as far as "DUMSOR" is concerned, he stated that, he believes every Government Over the years, at a point in time faced some sort of National crisis that may be as a results of a "Dormant Valcano waiting to erupt" so we must all face it together because it is not a one man thing.

Speaking about his colleagues in the Industry and their Opinions on energy crisis, he said that, he doesn't know the details of the statements they made, he only saw a few on social media so can't really tell if the statements they made were constructive or not.

However, his advice is that, even though the Government is responsible to a large extent in finding solutions to our national problems constructive criticism will help at this time.

According to the "Devil In A Dress" actor , it is rather Unfortunate that, Just after some of his colleagues stated their Opinion , some of them received bashed from different quarters.

"I can understand that people are under a lot of pressure, businesses have been affected , but I will urge that all parties keep a cool head so we solve our issues, Blaming one another should be constructive and emotionally controlled and all parties should pay more attention to the positives " He stated.

Asked if he will join the 'Dumsor Must stop" campaign, he said that he would, if only the agenda of the campaign is balanced. "The agenda for this "Dumsor must stop campaign must be balanced" If I get the sense of it being constructive , then it will be easier to support but if it is not, then it will be difficult to support, therefore, I will not make any decision now" He revealed.

Giving details on why he keeps emphasizing on constructive criticism, he said that some of the comments coming from people over the 'Dumsor" issue are not constructive. By:Mustapha Inusah

"I am a kind who listens to some radio stations and I monitor some of the call-ins and when you hear some of the comments coming some are not constructive" He said.

He added that, he believes more in his thumb speaking than putting pressure on Government because, he thinks there's no one in government who doesn't want "Dumsor" to go or stop immediately but realistically, maybe certain things are not being well-attended to.
