Former President Rawlings has described President Kufuor as a very dishonest person who revels in bribery and corruption and dared the President to come with him to the Antoa Nyamaa shrine in the Ashanti Region, to find out between the two (of them), who was more corrupt and wicked.

He also accused President Kufuor of telling lies about him whenever he travelled outside the country, adding the PNDC administration was not corrupt and brutish as the Kufuor administration was making the world to believe.

The former President alleged that President Kufuor had accused him of mishandling the Ghanaian economy and had also told his colleagues Heads of State, that, he, had slashed millions of dollars of the taxpayers? money in Switzerland.

The DAILY GUIDE undercover which confirmed these yesterday said the former President stated these at a rally held at the St. Denkyine Memorial Park at Dadiesoabasa town in the Asutifi South constituency of Brong Ahafo, on Tuesday, July 20, 2004.

Ex-President Rawlings remarks came a day after he had failed to attend a meeting of some 24 former Presidents and Prime Ministers in Salzburg, Austria.

The meeting was to discuss the path toward world peace, according to a report posted on the Ghana web and carried by the paper yesterday.
