Ghanaian gospel blogger and content creator, Sampson Agyekum
Ghanaian gospel blogger and content creator, Sampson Agyekum, popularly known as Skbeatz Records, has shared his thoughts on the ongoing discussion surrounding 12-year-old content creator Adobea, following a video currently trending on social media in which she is allegedly seen drinking alcohol.
According to Skbeatz Records, the issue should be approached with caution, particularly because Adobea is still a child. He believes the focus should not only be on the controversy but also on how her content and career can be properly guided as she grows.
In his view, Adobea’s management team should consider working with a professional creative director who understands children’s content and can develop positive, entertaining, and age-appropriate ideas for her.
“There are many creative ways to build her brand without exposing her to content that may negatively affect her wellbeing or public image,” Skbeatz Records noted.
He further believes that the right creative direction and proper guidance at this stage could help protect Adobea’s wellbeing while giving her the opportunity to build a positive, sustainable, and meaningful career in the future.
For Skbeatz Records, the conversation should ultimately be about responsible content creation, proper guidance, and protecting the interests of a young child, rather than simply turning the situation into another social media trend.
