One-half of the defunct group, Wutah, Wutah Afriyie has said that although he has no regrets for splitting, being a solo artiste has been very challenging for him as he has to now do all the work which hitherto was done by two people.

According to the ‘here to stay’ hitmaker “life as a solo artiste has been challenging. Initially, I was doing it with my brother like before now and the workload wasn’t as much as it is now. Before we sang two verses each on a song but now I am being forced to do all the verses myself and that is challenging for me."

He, however, mentioned that although it has been challenging, it has also been fulfilling as he now has the opportunity to do all he wants which is producing quality music for his fans.

Afriyie indicated that he has not regretted because life is a learning process and very dynamic so things like that could happen but one needs to stay resolute to come out of the challenges.

On his fight for the patronage of highlife music, the 'i do' hitmaker mentioned that the intended 80% local content been preached on by various actors in the industry should give priority to highlife music because that is the true identity of the country.
