I have heard a statement like “love is blind”. Love can be foolish at times because the heart doesn’t always love the right people at the right time.
Sometimes we hurt the ones that love us the most and love the ones that don’t deserve our love at all. But looking deep into this, I realized that, it’s not hard to make decisions once you know what your values are.
When it comes to love or matters of the heart, we decide who we accept, make special or entertain. One of the things killing us is the spirit of impatience. We are not patient with ourselves, our personal development, our happiness, our values and what we deserve.
We are only careful and curious when it comes to business ventures and money matters. We take time to weigh the risk before venturing. If we want to have successful marriage, we must do things at the right time. Every lady who wants to marry needs to travel from being a girl to the state of a woman; a complete one.
She has to grow from princess-ship to queen-ship in order to qualify for marriage, because girls play too much. It’s sad to know a girl still chases a guy even when he shows he doesn’t care. Whenever you ask why? the only answer you get is “I love him”.
A princess will spend the father’s wealth, his toil of education on a boy and whenever she is asked to stop. Her only response is, I can’t do without him.
Yet for a lady who has grown into a woman, anytime a man shows he doesn’t care about her, the guy is replaced. For a woman is ready and don’t want to entertain time wasters.
A Lady who has grown into a full queen won’t lower her status and beg a man to stay; she trusts her honey and knows how sweet it is and that the right person can’t resist it.
A girl who misses a guy she is not married to, will say “I wish I am kissing him now” but a woman will rather say I am missing you. A girl falls in love before knowing who she has fallen for, but a woman try her best to know the person before she falls for him.
Successful relationships require maturity no matter your age. I believe there are lots of girls in relationships now who in actually fact don’t need to be there. When you are mature, you know what you are doing; you know you are in relationship not just because of your feelings for someone. You know when a relationship is right for you.
The right relationship will enhance your life and not complicate it. As a queen you get into a relationship as a team mate, not a spectator. You don’t sit idle and receive but help each other accomplish more.
In conclusion “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences” – Proverbs 22:3 (NLT)
