This may sound funny but it is really true; for most people, when they are single, all they see is happy couples and when they are in a relationship, all they see is happy singles.

They are not happy themselves, so they try chasing happiness thinking they can find that in a relationship. They soon find out that a relationship doesn't guarantee that either so they then think going back to single life could help.

A relationship cannot give you the happy life you seek. You have all it takes to be happy alone. God didn't make any of us uninteresting beings. We are all special, wonderfully made and have interesting lives.

Life only becomes boring, problematic when we decide to remain inactive. Even with our bodies each time a part of an organ fails to function it causes us problems. Anytime you stop using one part of your body for a very longtime, it becomes defective, it doesn't function properly.

If you find yourself in the prison of boredom, there are lots of things to do to free yourself, else it has the power to kill you. You can do so by travelling; not necessarily going to a foreign country or city; but just where you are. You get to meet different kinds of people in color, shape, size, etc. You appreciate nature better, you learn something new.

Doing something new each day, gives a new meaning, taste and definition to life. Eating the same food each day makes you lose appetite; watching the same thing everyday makes you lose interest in it. Being at the same place always, makes you feel lonely. Doing the same things everyday makes it unenjoyable.

This is why we have to be daring, adventurous, creative and interesting by planning our days ahead. Travel to see new places, eat different foods, take a break from work to enjoy yourself alone, leave your car at home and jump into public transport. Park your bicycle and take a walk.

Leave the noise and put on music, leave your family, meet new people and make new friends. It helps you to learn from others, see things differently, grow positively and make useful decisions.

If you are single and waiting for the right person, explore life, enjoy every moment of your single life, make full use of the clock, go out and have fun, visit new places, make friends, enjoy nature, have a variety of taste.

These activities and experiences help to bring something interesting and exciting to your new relationship. It is like adding flavour or seasoning to your healthy and delicious food.

If you find yourself in the company of someone who looks bored, don't worry just ask better questions and you will find the title "bored" no longer fits them.

Always remember doing the same thing brings you the same result. If you want a different outcome, change the input. Do something new and you will see something new.

In conclusion "So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun" - Ecclesiastes 8:15 (NLT).
