Lil Win and Rashida ‘Malafaka’ to clash at #JigweAwards2016

Popular comic actor and Jigwe Awards 2016 nominee Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, will make his maiden appearance at the 2016 edition of Jigwe Awards. This was confirmed by his Publicist, Bossu Kule Arhin, on Wednesday.

Lil Win has been nominated in the Jigwe Viral Video category for his ‘I Can’t Tink Far’ video. He faces stiff competition from Rashida Black Beauty with her ‘Malafaka’ viral video. Also in the category are Obinim, Kafui Dey, Gifty Osei, and the 10 Virgins pastor. President Mahama is also nominated in the category with his infamous response to the question about whether he has ever taken bribe.

Meanwhile, Rashida Black Beauty has asked her fans to vote massively for her to win the Jigwe Viral Video award. Rashida was on This Morning, Thursday, ahead of next week’s Jigwe Awards.

On Twitter, fans can vote by tweeting the name and nominee together with the hashtag #JigweAwards2016, and can simply comment on the categories on Instagram and Facebook.

The 2016 Jigwe Awards will be LIVE on Viasat1 and will stream online via Viasat1 Facebook page on Thursday, December 22 from 7:00am. The dress code is African glam.
