LilWin's claim of a child not being his was a publicity stunt, according to his management
Wezzyempire, the management of Kumawood actor and entertainer LilWin, has stated that the widely circulated claim by the actor about a supposed DNA test involving a child of his is completely false and was only a promotional strategy for his upcoming movie.
It could be recalled that in a live online interaction with colleague actor and producer Kwame Gee, LilWin disclosed that one of the children he had raised for 10 years had been revealed to not be his after a DNA test was conducted.
The clip quickly went viral, sparking debates about paternity fraud.
However, in a statement dated March 15, 2026, the management described the claims as "misleading rumours" and categorically denied that the viral content reflected any real-life incident involving the actor.
"We wish to state categorically that these claims are completely not a reflection of a true and real incident. This is strictly a showbiz marketing strategy designed to promote Lilwin's highly anticipated upcoming movie, titled 'DNA,' which will be premiered exclusively on Wezzyempire Tv on YouTube," the statement read.

The management also moved to protect the actor's personal reputation, stressing that LilWin is a happily married man and father.
"The ongoing conversation regarding DNA is purely a storyline from the movie and has absolutely no reflection on Lilwin's personal life. Lilwin is a happily married man and is blessed with 8 beautiful children with his lovely wife," it added.
The management concluded by urging the public to disregard the claim, as it does not reflect his personal life.
