Wezzy Empire, the management team of actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as LilWin, has released a statement regarding the harrowing accident that occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

LilWin, his manager Raymoney, and their bouncer sustained serious injuries in an accident that happened in Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi.

The accident also resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy, Tawiah Ampomah, and left his father critically injured.

In the press release shared on May 28, 2024, Weezy Empire conveyed the team's appreciation for the public's support and the efforts of the medical staff at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The management also addressed the unfortunate passing of a 3-year-old boy in the incident, extending their condolences to his family.

Wezzy Empire also denounced allegations of neglect towards the other victims, which they said they found 'distasteful'.

The management claimed that their focus was on the well-being of those affected and assured the public that the ongoing police investigation would clarify the circumstances behind the accident.

However, we are deeply saddened by the tragic death of a 3-year-old boy who was involved in the accident, and we extend our sincere condolences to the bereaved family.

"As much as we are saddened and traumatised, we find unwarranted, the allegations of neglect on our part, as speculated by some commentators' very distasteful and disturbing at this troubling time.

"We want to state categorically that we were unclear about the extent of damage from the accident because our artist, manager, and bouncer suffered life-threatening injuries.

"We remain resolute that investigations by the police will establish the facts of the matter in due course," he said.

The statement added that LilWin and Raymoney suffered life-threatening injuries and are continuing their recovery, with the bouncer awaiting surgery.
