Kojo Nkansah 'Lilwin's' cinematic creation, 'A Country Called Ghana,' has been honoured with a nomination for 'Black Star Movie of the Year' at the 2024 Black Star International Film Festival.

The movie has been added to the 'Black Star Movie of the Year' category at the festival.

The film, directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin and produced by Lilwin, was released in May 2024 and boasts a diverse multinational cast including renowned actors such as Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, and Victor Osuagwu.

So far, since its release, the movie has clinched a cinema distribution deal and multiple nominations at film festivals across Germany and New Zealand.

Additionally, 'A Country Called Ghana' is scheduled for a feature at the Nollywood Film Festival.

The Black Star International Film Festival, a yearly event in Accra, Ghana, is dedicated to celebrating and promoting the achievements of African filmmakers and those from the diaspora, enhancing the global stature of African cinema.
