The management of one of the Ghana’s most favorite actors Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lilwin has expressed their displeasure at allegations levelled against their client by ‘Made In Agege’ movie producer Ahenfo Rebel.
The Producer of "Made in Agege", Ahenfo Rebel days ago voiced his utmost disappointment in Lilwin for not showing up at the premiering of the movie at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra.
The movie starred Lilwin, Bernard Aduse Poku, Bill Asamoah and many others, but only Bill Asamoah and Daddy Santo were among the key characters who showed up at the cinema.
In an interview with Ghanaweb, Okyeame the Public Relations Officer for Lilwin explained that both Lilwin and his manager called the producer to explain to him the state of his client since he was involved in an accident while on set for a new movie.
“It was never intentional for Lilwin to be absent at the premiere, it was the actors’ wish to be present to interact with both his fans and also help grow the industry”, he added.
“Lilwin suffered injuries while casting a new movie. The incident happened when he was playing the role of an armed robber in the movie titled “Wicked Father”. He jumped on an obstacle and landed awkwardly breaking his leg in the process”, Okyeame explained.
“Lilwin wishes to apologize to all his fans who were disappointed at his absence and is thankful to all who have shown much concern and care at his injury.
He’s responding to both the orthodox and medical treatment. We believe in God for a speedy and full recovery”, he added.
