Accra, Oct.22, GNA- A renounced Gospel musician, Lionel Peterson, arrived in Accra this afternoon to participate in a gospel show at the National Theatre on Sunday.
The show, which is under the theme: "South meets West" is expected to bring gospel musicians from South and West Africa together in a gospel encounter to promote the propagation of the gospel through music. In speaking to journalists on arrival, Lionel Peterson acknowledged the immense role gospel music plays in the promotion of love, peace, understanding and economic development.
"Music is one of the mediums that brings people together erespective of their race, culture and religious beliefs". He said that Gospel music could transform the lives of individuals and cited his own personal life, which has undergone considerable change through Gospel music.
Reverend Ebenezer Markwei, Overseer of the Living Stream Ministries, said the concept coincides with the launch of the maiden album of the Church choir entitled, "Monarchs Praise". He said Lionel Peterson would also hold seminars on the dynamics of praise, worship and leadership.
