Ghanaian music star, TiC, known privately as Nana Kweku Okyere Duah on Wednesday supported over 250 people on social media as part of efforts to extend a helping hand to the needy.

The beneficiaries were on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and in some cases on WhatsApp platforms.

Individuals received between GHC30 and GHC200 randomly when the #TiCMOMOWednesday kick-started.

According to the man behind Mama Grace EP, following the lockdown, he received messages from people asking for support as low as GHC20.

With this, the “Nipa” crooner said, he felt people were in difficult times, hence he decided to support.

“I did this not because I’m rich, but my desire to help people out of their discomfort,” he said.

To TiC, since the lockdown, things have been difficult for those who either work for private establishments or are self-employed.

He urged others to emulate the gesture while entreating all to adhere to the various precautionary measures.

TiC recently released, Mama Grace EP which was dedicated to his mother, for the invaluable role played in his music career.

The EP, which is his maiden in the over two-decade-career is made up of songs like, Goro, Ditto, Nipa, London Bridge, Wori, and Love Me Now.
