Ex-hiplife star, Evangelist Lord Kenya, has sternly cautioned celebrities in the country to live modest lifestyles which are pleasant in the sight of God.

Evangelist Kenya, a former chain-smoker, admonished the celebrities to shun bad lifestyles such as smoking, womanising and excessive drinking, urging them to seek the face of God so that their souls would be saved on the last day.

He reminded the celebrities that the world would certainly come to an end one day and that every human being living on the surface of earth, including the celebrities, would be judged by God, regarding how they lived their lives on earth.

Evangelist Kenya was preaching the sermon at the Faith Outreach Ministry at Anloga in Kumasi last Sunday where he was the guest speaker of ‘September To Remember’, an annual spiritual programme of the church.

The church, headed by Pastor John K. Appiah, sets aside every September to fast and pray for 30 days for the nation, the president, traditional leaders and Ghanaians in general to experience God’s blessings in their lives.

Evangelist Kenya, who is the head of the Lord Kenya Ministry at Ahodwo in Kumasi, disclosed that he has never regretted giving his life to God five years ago, saying that he and his family have been blessed beyond their imagination so far.

He said he has experienced total joy and peace when he left the darkness of the world into the light of Jesus Christ, urging the celebrities to follow his shining example by also surrendering their lives to God.

Pastor John K. Appiah urged celebrities in the country to let Lord Kenya’s example motivate them to also give their lives to God and experience total peace and enormous blessings in their lives.

He charged Christians to constantly pray for Ghana so that upcoming the presidential and parliamentary polls would be peaceful, warning journalists to avoid sensational reports ahead of the polls.

Pastor Appiah said, “September To Remember is a special date on the calendar of his church where the entire congregation seeks God’s face and also intercede on behalf of Ghana and its people.”

According to him, he was touched by Lord Kenya’s exemplary works and efforts in winning souls for Christ during the past five years, urging the former hiplife star to work harder to win more celebrities for Christ.
